William was being sized up in this competition. It was an evening run. It started right before dusk, and ended at dusk. It was a really hot day, and I was worried, but William did really well.
... and they're off! In this race, William didn't place in the under age 18 group. It's some tough competition, but he loves to run, and we are trying to support him in this.
This is a hot boy crossing the line! He was disappointed not to get a medal, but we are grateful that he is learning to lose with a bit of grace.
