Our Japanese teacher said she found a very FRESH sashimi place in Hayama. So, we decided to go.
This is a side road that is off of the road that goes between the Emperors Summer Place and Kamakura.
What a spread of incredibly fresh, thickly cut seafood meats!

We love going with our teacher, she tells us what we're eating.
This is a salad with tuna and seaweed, and a sauce that you can buy in stores. It was like sweet and sour miso. Extraordinary!
Reina ordered a cooked fish. It took longer to get to the table.
Then she made a big mistake... she offered us bites. Jun-yi loved it so much, she ordered more for herself!
Served with lemon and piece of ginger shoot. Now, how FRESH was this place?!? :)
Well, after we ate the salads, we got the sashimi, and when Reina's fish was served, we started eating our sashimi, and here's what happened:
