There's nothing like a field trip to get the kids excited. They were big into holding their breath through tunnels. There are a lot of tunnels in Japan!
William got us the spot right behind the driver. Soleil no Oka is a 'farm' for kids to experience things.
It was a cold morning, so I took my coat. Then roasted the rest of the day. The kids are lined up and waiting in their tie-dye shirts.
Bread making was more of 'forming the dough.'
William, who has made bread with me before, is obviously pretty bored!
It was a nice wheat bread!
The face was a popular design.
Making butter was shaking up a bottle with heavy cream in it. Hey, it worked!
Add that to a roll, and you've totally ruined the kid's lunch.
William absolutely loves this long tunnel slide. He is coming out of it.
Now he's excited about it. We also slid down a hill. I took pics with another mom's camera, but they've never gotten to me. A good time was had by all!
This jersey cow was in the horse barn. Hence the difficulty in finding it. She is getting an IV for milk fever.
The calf was only a day old. So cute!
