Nissan Festa

I saw in a flier that the Nissan Oppama plant was celebrating 50 years.  So, I had a Japanese friend call to confirm how to get there.
The pamphlet said there would be a festival with performers...
....and food...
...and events for the kids.
It also said they'd have a tour inside the plant.  No.  We were told you have to apply for those 2 months in advance on the internet.
But at least we got to see this miniature REAL coal train work!
William rode it (he's in yellow).
and rode it...
...and rode it.  Thank heavens it was free, and saved the day.
You sent straight out Oppama station, crossed 16, and walked to this fire station (below), then went to where this bus was parked, and it took us there.
I am going to book a day to go tour the plant and take William and friends (you need at least 8 to have a tour in English).
