Don and Mary Ann Day

The morning after the wedding was brunch at Jen and Dmitri's house.  I love this pic of Tim and I (thank you, Sonja!)
This caused me a lot of cr@p on fb, as folks teased me about this.  I was trying to crack up Jessica.  It worked!
Don and Mary Ann came down to meet up with us.  We went to the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate park area so we could go do the earthquake exhibit.
Then, they took us out to eat at their favorite place in China Town (did you know there's parking underneath, and they validate?) to eat.  On the way, we stopped by the house Tim's mom's cousin grew up in in the Haight-Ashbury district.
We really enjoyed the picnic lunch, museum, and dinner.  We'd originally planned to spend more time with them in their historic victorian home, but the government changed Tim's orders, and that was that.
I just love San Fran architecture!
The Transamerica building.  San Fran has the Golden Gate Bridge and this as icons.
They charged us 50 cents to take a picture at the fortune cookie factory.  Just FYI- they were invented by American Japanese.  Now, it is a Chinese phenomenon!  :)
The Transamerica building as we are flying out.
It was a wonderful trip.
