William wanted to save the pumpkin seeds after we carved Jack o' Lanterns last fall. So this spring, I made him prep the soil, and we planted 3 hills. 2 actually started to grow something. This one, it pushed, but never popped up.
This one is growing!
Love that the husk is still on it.
The last hill (I should say 'hole' as William wanted it dug this way) already is growing faster.
Now it is larger.
And they are both flowering!
I am hoping that they survive summer for William's sake.
