My Japanese class goes on field trips. Sometimes we get 3-in-one. Heading to a shrine, we found this Starbucks in Kamakura. It looked so neat! We instantly fell in love with it, and went in for coffee.

This is the outside veranda.

This is the view of a swimming pool. But, you can't stand on the stones!

The sign inside. The first katakana reads, "Sutabakkusu kohee."

In a Japanese magazine was a story of how this one guy loved this building so much, he tried to buy it to use it as a house. When he couldn't he had the same architect build him one in a different part of Kamakura.

The roof is slanted, and the light inside is just so nice.

There's even parking available! Not always so in Japan...
